I haven't posted anything lately as I've been going through a whirlwind of changes and emotions.  As you all know, I wasn't selected to go into the Stem Cell arm of the Northwestern Clinical Trial. That was quite a disappointment for me as I am desperate to get rid of this disease.

When I applied for the Northwestern trial, I also applied to facilities that offered HSCT around the world.  At the beginning of February, I received an email from Clinica Ruiz in Mexico offering me a slot on their HSCT schedule for March 28, 2016.  I was in shock.  I had actually given up hope and then to get this news was overwhelming and scary.  Since then, I have been doing everything I can to come up with the $54,000 required by Clinica Ruiz in order to be able to go.  I downsized and sold quite a few things of my own, took a loan from my 401K and started two different fundraisers (GoFundMe and an online Auction).
So far, I have a total of $31,551 and am so incredibly grateful to everyone that has helped me to this point.  I'm praying I can get the rest in time.

If I can - I will be in Puebla, Mexico for a month receiving a new life.  Please feel free to reach out to me if you have specific questions.  I'd love to share with anyone who is interested.
